The department of Chemistry came into being with the inception of the college. The department has an excellent tract record with students securing ranks in every annual university examination. Students of the department are well placed in different walks of life. The faculty has talent, desire and motivation to achieve excellence in all spheres of academic activities. The department has experienced and competent faculty to deal with the curriculum. The number is adequate as of present.
