Domino – A Powerful Word and Imaginative Metaphor

The term domino comes from Latin verb, “to beat”. A domino set consists of a row of tiles that can be arranged in many ways to form intricate displays. Domino artists plan out entire sequences before carefully nudging individual pieces until achieving the desired effect; some pieces even build themselves into 3D structures such as towers or pyramids for 3D domino shows where spectators witness incredible reactions and effects created through domino art.

Domino is an apt metaphor for how our decisions often have far-reaching repercussions, so it is wise to carefully consider their effects upon others before acting, so as to prevent unnecessary drama and complications.

Example: Going to bed late one night could have an immediate and negative effect on your sleep schedule the next night, making waking up feeling groggy all the more challenging during your workday. Furthermore, neglecting to clean your home regularly and take out trash regularly could quickly have detrimental results on both yourself and your family’s living conditions.

Writing with dominoes as an approach to fiction plotting is a useful technique for writing. When creating your novel, whether spontaneously or following an outline, each scene acts like dominos that naturally influence what happens next; these scenes form one piece of the larger whole only when placed sequentially into place.

Neena Thurman, better known by her nickname Domino, was created from an illegal government project intended to produce the ultimate mutant weapon. Through sheer luck alone she managed to escape this endeavor and join Cable’s Six Pack mercenary force (later renamed Wild Pack), led by Nathan Summers’ mutant soldier Cable (also known as Cable). Later she rejoined Wolverine’s Black Ops team before rejoining X-Force to help track down Ekaterina Gryaznova as Prime Sentinel Prime Sentinel!

Domino later joined the Hong Kong branch of X-Corporation and thwarted John Sublime’s Third Species mutant organ harvesting movement. She has since helped run X-Force in Rumekistan as well as fighting alongside the X-Men on several occasions. Domino is still employed by X-Corporation today and serves as de facto leader of their Six Pack unit.
